Wynton Wong is a filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Wynton loves storytelling and the power it has. From stage to screen, she has directed, edited, performed, produced, and written on a variety of projects. She aspires to direct in film and television. Producing and writing also rank fairly high on things that she loves to do.

Her favorite filmmakers include John Hughes, John Carpenter, and John Woo. She also loves a lot of other content creators that don't start with the first name John, including Paddy Chayevsky, Wes Craven, Brian De Palma, David Fincher, Steven Spielberg, and Bryan Fuller.

She is a voracious consumer of television, film, and books, and enjoys a good conversation and analysis. A lover of all things Internet, Wynton has experience in social media marketing and campaigns, including consulting to increase impressions and interactions. A techjunkie, Wynton has worked in IT and is excited to see how technology will continue to change storytelling.

Wynton has a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Communication Studies with a concentration in Media Production as well as Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience and Cognitive Studies. While at Chapel Hill, Wynton was also in the Writing for the Screen and Stage program where she learned about screenwriting from Dana Coen, Scott Myers, and Stephen Neigher.

A proud Tar Heel, Wynton competed for Carolina as a Varsity Women's Foil Fencer,where she started for three years and served as captain. Being a part of the Carolina Atheletics family, Wynton participated and completed the Baddour Leadership Academy and mentored first-year athletes.
